Procedures

Total number of procedures generally performed by each resident throughout their training programPicture of needle being injected:

  • EMGs/NCVs = 430-500/resident (average 465)
  • SSEPs = 15-20/resident
  • Injection Procedures = 100-150/resident (average 125)
    (epidural, trigger point, facet, sacroiliac joint, etc.)

Exam Performance:

American Board of PM&R Examination

During the past five years, 84% of the graduating residents passed Part 1 of the specialty examination administered by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Of those taking Part 2 for the first time, 96% have passed the exam.
